Wow. I knew the aluminum heads cut a bunch, but that's crazy. I have a set of complete X heads sitting here, might just have to weigh them to compare. Thanks!

Did you actually weigh the heads vs. the iron heads to get the 50 pound number or is that an educated guesstimate?

Autos are nearly always going to be more consistent, but it isn't just the transmission that goes into it. It's weather, tune up, tire pressure in all 4 tires, tranny temp, water temp, oil temp, oil pressure, staging routine, and more. It's one thing to run a number back to back, but a whole...

Ozzy (who owns Orlando) now owns Lakeland and South Georgia Motorsports Park. They have put a lot of time into making Lakeland a fun little track. Once the car is together I'll be back out there since Showtime (old Sunshine) pretty much sucks now. Bradenton is still as good as it always does...

Easiest way to tell who is whomping is to look at the front fender right over the tire. You'll see it bouncing on the car whomping. Personally, I whomp whenever possible, but I dial pretty close anyway. Only time I dump hard is if I have to spray and dump.
