How much room do you have between the radiator and the water pump pulley? What is the thickness of the fan assembly??

New griffin radiator is on the way. One thing I’ve noticed is that the core support on the right side has some concave characteristics to it causing the radiator to be leaned back about an inch and a half. I’m going to straighten that core support out before installing the new radiator and that...

I literally have a couple of inches if that between the radiator and the water pump pulley. In fact the fan Hass to be offset some and it’s motor Ride directly between the water pump pulley and power steering pulley. Any radiator/fan upgrade that I’m going to do is likely going to have to be...

The only way to do that is to go with a pusher setup. Which I may have To do

The main problem with the fan other than being too slow is the lack of room between the radiator and pulley. The fan motor is literally in between the water pump and power steering pulley

I also had doubts if it was enough fan thanks. If I end up replacing the radiator a new fan set up be included. I have very limited space though

Ok Here is the fan, shroud and radiator set up. The fan is 17 inches and it supposed to be at 2950 CFM. The radiator is 19.5” x 27”. I remove some of the coolant so you could see the flow that begins at about 180°. The videos are at about 190°

I do have a shroud although a small one. I can feel extreme heat being pulled away. I have a 2400 stall TC and an external/separate trans cooler (not connected to the radiator)
