The lid is plywood and the floor is just a standard trunk floor for any Valiant or Dart of that year with the spare tire well.I replaced mine years ago

Remember this : Don't over tighten the bolts that go thru the chrome .This can cause the chrome to blister and ruin your nice replated bumper.Been there done that

My 1966 Valiant convertible is that same color. It is also a " survivor" with 59,000 miles, a slant 6, and no rust. Keep it as it is and enjoy it.There are very few original surviving A body convertibles left . You have something special .

The center link in my 66 Valiant convertible 225 6 cyl is not a V8 centerlink .The car has 59,000 miles on it and I bought it from the estate of the little old lady who bought it new so I know it has never been fooled with.Maybe they did things different in Canada

I used a 122 tooth flywheel with a 1965 273 bell on the 1971 318 I put in my 1965 Barracuda . It was a bolt in . It took the 10 inch clutch and worked great for the 12 years I had that car

It's a good starting point but not at 7500 dollars .A car in this condition should be in the 2500 to 3500 dollars .By the time you fix it all up you are into it for 20 grand if you can get it for 2500 - 3500 dollars at 7500 it's a loosing proposition
