The steel wheels are 15x5 with 185/65R15 up front and 15x7 with 255/60R15s out back. The American Racing Torq-Thrust Originals on the front are 15x5 with 165R15s. The rear wheel/tire combo to go with the TTOs are 15x8s, and not 100% on tire size, but am leaning towards 29” pie crust slicks.

The slant if the slant six is ultimately the deciding factor in it NOT making horsepower! If it was a regular inline 6, there would be enough room to run a crossflow head and actually make some big power. Counterflow heads are very limited.

I've got a used Hellwig front and rear bar off my '64 Dart. Going to a drag setup. They're both the hollow bars. Front is a 1.25" back is a 1" adjustable. $200 per bar +shipping costs.

1.75" primaries, 3" collector.

So I figured I needed to balance the engines look after getting these gnarly fender-well headers, so yesterday I picked up an NOS Offy Turbo-Thrust 360 dual quad tunnel ram intake!!!

My new Hedman Huslers showed up for my '64 Dart today! Woot! Woot!

As it sits currently. Front has 2" drop spindles with the 1.06" tbars turned back up. Front tire is a 185/65R15. Rear suspension is stock Mopar xhd springs and the tire is a 245/60R15".

So I upgraded the suspension on my '64 Dart to handle better, and this is what I have learned. Do: -Replace all the bushings, ball joints, and tie rod ends. -Upgrade torsion bars to 1" bars -KYB gas a just shocks if your cheap -Bilstein shocks if your not cheap -US car tool stage 2 chassis...

So I can't remember whose dart this is, but I wanted to ask some questions to the owner regarding wheel/tire sizes and suspension setup.

Any more detailed pics of the driver's side installed? I'm curious as to where it dumps.

A 205/70R15 is only 26.3 inches tall. I currently run 245/60R15s, which are 26.6 inches tall. I wanna run something like a 275/60R15.

Anybody successfully running a 28" tire on an early Dart? Something like a 275/60R15. If so, what mods were required, and do you have any pics?

They fit. Passenger side head pipe is pretty straight forward. The driver's side head pipe takes some serious bending, especially with a 4spd.

Any '60-'66 Abody bench seat should bolt in.
