    Peavey Predator

What about a Squier Classic Vibe or Vintage Modified Stratocaster? They're getting some great reviews. They sell for $350 new, but I've seen great used ones in the $250-300 range. The Peavey looks too "shredder" to me, but I suppose that's just my opinion. You might also want to check out...

    Early Pink Floyd , c.1968

I like the early Floyd stuff, although, if I had the choice, I would listen to "Dark Side of the Moon." Here's an interview with Clapton in '67. He talks about Pink Floyd around 2:40 for a few seconds and says he likes them "now," but doesn't think he'll like them for very long. Maybe he was...

Pete Towenshend regrets joining The Who

Pete's solo stuff was good, but I don't think he wouldv'e ever left the ground if not for the Who, Roger Daltrey, John Entwistle, and Keith Moon. I'm sure it's easy for him to have regrets now that he has plenty in the bank, like DA69RT GT said.

VIN doesn't say what transmission it has. I would say the torque boxes are a strong indicator.

For anyone who likes good music.....

I would agree it's not earthshattering, but it was certainly very enjoyable and well done. The solo itself didn't catch me by surprise as much as who was playing the solo, which is what I was wanting to point out for anyone who had completely disregarded Prince's work. My musical standing is...

For anyone who likes good music.....

Are you sure? It looks to me that he is using a pick and I always thought Mark Knopfler was strictly a finger picker. He does bear some resemblance though. I had initially thought is was Knopfler, but the pick really threw me off.

For anyone who likes good music.....

Jeff Lynne (Electric Light Orchestra), Tom Petty, Prince, and Dhani Harrison (son of George Harrison) doing "While My Guitar Gently Weeps." I'm generally not a Prince fan, but the guy can tear up a solo. Anybody know who the guy is playing the lead fills on the Strat, like from 0:30 to 0:34...

    Stand out Mopars...anything different?

I like all of your ideas except the last one. The Barracuda front clip and big inch wheels irked me a little. How about a 3000 hp Dart wagon, a Duster made for bajaing, a hot rod made out of a '57 Belvedere, and a '58 Plymouth Cabana? Are those stand out enough?

"Deserted Cities of the Heart" , Cream 1968

Nope, I just like the old music. By the time I was born, Brian Jones, Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin, Bon Scott, John Bonham, Keith Moon, Graham Parsons and John Lennon were all dead and gone.

If you were told it looked like you only had a couple years to live..........

If you would require a lifestyle change just because you realized you had a set amount of time left, maybe you weren't living right in the first place, before you knew how much time you had left? My opinion.

    John Lennon's passing - 30 yrs today

I can't say anything about the man himself because I didn't know him personally, but I did like his music (mostly the stuff he wrote while a Beatle). That's all I know. "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" is probably my favorite tune that he wrote.
