You likely woulda found you couldn't get them any tighter than I did, and found out they're like a spring and just go back to the original spot. I considered a jack handle in the collector to bend them but decided if I'm going to have to bend them it's better to do it with a hammer so I at least...

Jack up the back of the door, bends the door frame to bring it back into alignment after sagging down for 40 years. Want to protect the rocker and door shell and skin. Steel 5' long pry bar and lift it up as needed. Final adjust the striker pin, for smooth closing. ☆☆☆☆☆

What was the brand of 80w90 gear lube you used? Valvoline is good. Want to make sure it is not an 80w90 weight lube that is a synthetic, that stuff is way thinner than the old school stinky 80w90 lube. ☆☆☆☆☆
