    Im going to swap my 383 into my scamp this week. Who has a B-deck motor with an RPM air-gap intake? does it clear a flat steel hood? Drop base for sure in my future, just seeing what you guys have and what works. THANKS!!

    Power steering and B deck motor? Can or cannot

    Im going to run a 383 i got with the car, currently it has power steering. So with the hedman 1 3/4 headers and my swap mounts, has anyone kept the power steering with a simiar setup? Or am I asking to much... lol oh its a 71 scamp also.

    4.50 stroke in stock block... rod to cam clearance??

    anyone build one?? 543 pump gas 440 block build for a friend of mines swamp buggy and he doesnt want alot of rpm, just alot of grunt. I read a blurb where a guy said you could only run .550 lift or the rod would crash the cam lobe... seems a little odd to me.
