65 Barracuda Ok not sure what I need to do here. The filler neck is leaking slightly. I thought I had it in the tank deep enough but obviously I don't. Any suggestions on what I can do to position it correctly? Should I spray some WD40 and just twist?

My gauge reads very low. The gauge works and the sending unit works. I tested the sender outside the tank and the gauge will show full when float is at the top and empty at bottom. So I am guessing the sending unit needs to be adjusted. How so you adjust it?

Not sure whats going on but I have a clear fuel filter on my 65 barracuda and I was showing my friend something and noticed air bubbles percolating through the filter. Is this normal or where do I need to look for this?

I realize to a seasoned pro this is going to sound about as dumb as $h1t but here goes. The rubber gasket for the sending unit to the tank does it go on the tank side or the locking ring side. I want to say tank side but it is currently on the new sender that is in the box lodged with the lock ring.
