    Manual Valve Body

    IF my reading and understanding is correct, a shift kit is not needed in a manual valve body? I guess if I'm reading things correctly the MVB is designed to firm up the shifts as well as give me full control of shift points.

    Does anyone know if E body axles can be cut down to A body length??? I picked up an E body complete 8 3/4, 489 center for 50 bucks. I am going to shorten the housing to A body length, and would like to use the axles. If I can't I'll buy a set.

    I know it's been posted before. but does anyone have the part number for the OEM 904 trans pan gasket? I'm on the phone with a Chrysler dealer and he doesn't even know what a 904 Torqueflite is, go figure.
