I see intakes for small blocks advertised for all small blocks. What about the port mis match with 340 heads? Are the professional products intakes good for a mild 340? The 69 340 intake has small bores, and I was thinking that I would like to try a Thermoquad carb.

I have a QFT 600 vacuum secondaries. New carb. Runs well. Still fine tuning. Small block engine. General carb question. Why does one side of the carb adjust fine using the idle mixture, while the other side shows no change when adjusting. Is it just dirt? Thanks.

Does any one know where I can get a good quality carb kit for my 1969 avs carb? It's a 4612s if it matters. Thanks, Dave
