Just wondering if someone fabricated an Auto steering column to look like a manual column. I was thinking you can chop off the shifter and the shifter indicator housing and fabricate a plate to cover the void. Anyone done it? Is it feasible?

I had one rusted stuck torsion bar in a v-8 k frame I bought a couple of years ago. Sprayed WD-40, welded on a piece of angle iron and used a BFH. It finally came out but it took quite a few whacks. LOL.
