I am probably going to throw my stock 360 into the Dart for now, the 440 is just going to cost too much to finish for the time being. I have read a bunch of stuff on the Whiplash, and have heard of a Dakota running low 12's with a bone stock 360 and this cam. Anyone out there have any timeslip...

I am curious how fast my A body could be (driveline and driving being optimized) with a basically stock 360 with an 800CFM carb, Whiplash cam and headers. Thoughts?

I decided I would rather drive the car with a 360 than wait for another couple of years before I can afford to finish my 440 with all the running gear changes that will be required. Maybe I won't hate it with headers and a Whiplash cam! :(

So I have my 360 pretty much ready to go into the dart, should I use the 273 exhaust manifolds or do I need to find 360 manifolds? I would rather just drop in a set of headers, but have to wait. Thanks, Mark

I am removing the 273 and dropping a 360 (pre-magnum) and have heard I will need a diferent shackle for one side of the engine. Which side, and where can I get one?

I was looking at the intake from my 273 and noticed that it is a single plane design. I have never seen a factory single plane cast iron manifold before. Anyone else heard of this? It's only a 2bbl so I can't really use it, but found it interesting.

So I was reading one of the motor mounts is different between the 273 and 360. Do I just grab the ones on the donor van or do I have to pick up something special? Also, will I need to shorten the driveshaft when going from a 904 to a 727? What else will I need to deal with? Thanks, Mark

So, I guess it isn't good for an engine to sit for 23 years. I ran it about 30 minutes that water started gushing out of the front of the intake. This is what I found....
