I have a Carter BBD 2 bbl. carb I want to go thru. There aren't any tags under the screws on the top of the carb. There is a number stamped in the base near where the throttleshaft goes thru. Could this number help ID the year of the carb? I'm guessing it's probably in the 65-early 70s range...
