I am bummed to find out that my 340 has at least one (driver side) later style (71-73?) 340 exhaust manifold. Are there only two styles? 68-70 and 71-73? What are all the differences? Any performance loss on the later style? Any numbers I should look for? Thanks,

I have stock 340 exhaust manifolds and the heat riser weight thing is hanging lose and it has a bad exhaust leak. Can this be fixed or is there a good method to remove it all together? Can either be done with it in the car or does the manifold have to come out? Thanks!
