    Oil pickup to pan clearance

    On a 360 block, I have a canton 910 oil pan with matching pickup(901)my measurements give me 1.5” clearance. That way to much, what do I do to correct this? Bend the tube? It seems like a lot to bend to make it right

    Plugging air injection holes

    I’ve done it many times, tap it with 1/4-20 and put the a bolt or whatever I have in there. I have a set of 308 heads that were on a jasper motor, I tried the 1/4-20 tap and it slides right through the hole, like it’s been drilled out already. Can it be safely taken out to 5/16”?

    Balancer

    Can you tell me if this is an LA or a magnum balancer? I bought a second hand jasper 360 with low miles(2000) it’s a 92 casting date, has LA timing cover, short snout roller cam, had factory TBI, 308 heads on it. I’m trying to find out if magnum or LA balance so I can get the correct flywheel...

    Engine storage

    I thought I would share the way I store engines. Cheap and easy 4 12” 4x4’s and 4 14” 2x4’s and some 3” screws I’ve doing it this way for years, I’m sure you have other ways of storing the too, let’s see them
