I have a whining noise coming from the rear end of my car. It starts at about 20MPH & gets louder up to about 50MPH. Letting off the gas and coasting it goes away. Looks like a trip to the shop. It's a suregrip 8 3/4. Any ideas on what it might be? Thanks.

I currently have kickdown linkage on order. It was missing from my car, the kickdown is tied right now. I'm getting tired of waiting though, are the cables a good thing? They are also cheaper than what I have on order. Are people getting good results with the cables? I'm on the fence.
