Finally a Mopar owner again yay!

It has been several long years since I sold my '65 Barracuda before I relocated to S. Carolina. All my life I've loved Furys and I'd been hoping I'd get to have one more. Well it was meant to be and this is the third time that I've found a very nice old Mopar in the small towns of Georgia. An...

Which basic car batteries Made In USA?

Been having a hard time getting real answers. When you look at the batteries on store shelves, nowhere on them does it say where they are made. When you ask the guys who work at the parts stores, they don't know. Then there's Made In North America which includes Mexico and Canada. Does anyone...

Which older, basic mini-van is best?

For years I've wanted to take a few months and explore our great country. I was thinking a mini-van would have room to sleep in back on an air matress, and space for camping gear. A 4-cyl would be economical and I would prefer a Chrysler product if possible. Any advice on what models are good...

Does it help much at all....?

....to cool the engine down by opening the hood for awhile when you park your car? You know, like in the old black and white movies, you'd see them do this. What do you think, does it make much difference?

Easy visual ID 383 vs. 440?

Is there a difference visually between a 383 and a 440....something easy to see even in a photo? For example, I'll see a '68 Chrysler on ebay but the decription doesn't say which engine it has. Thanks FABO gurus!

A few "HOT" car show pics

Stopped to check out the North Georgia Mopar Club car show. It was a benefit for Alzheimers they did at a retirement home. A few residents came out in the heat to see the cars. My favorite was the Imperial, I had seen it before, it's a rare car, the owner has had it for a long time and he really...

    TX-7 oil additive really works

'Goldie' burns a little oil. Blue exhaust on start-up and during acceleration when the engine is cold. My neighbor told me this oil additive works...I was skeptical but after using it when I changed the oil last Saturday, I'm hardly seeing any smoke.
