1 bbl kickdown linkage on 2bbl

is there any way to adapt my 1bbl kickdown linkage to work on a 2 barrel? i got a new /6 and it came with a 2bbl intake so im looking at going from a holley 1920 1bbl to a carter bbd 2bbl

I would go with the Lokar kickdown cable. Its totally adjustable and I've read its not hard to hook up. There is no way for a 1bbl kickdown linkage to work on a 2bbl. If you want factory original, I would highly recommend going to a "pull it yourself" car yard, and looking around for a setup. The factory original 2bbl kickdowns with a complete setup usually pop up on ebay once and a while.

I remember when I changed my 1 bbl to a 350 CFM 2bbl carb(6 pack centre carb). I had a Chrysler mechanic friend of mine work on it and he had to rig something up so it would work and work it did. But that was back in 1978.
