1961-62 Lancer/Valiant - removing cluster & instrument panel

Hey all.

1961-1962 Lancer/Valiant.

Multi-part question:

Can you remove the metal gage cluster housing without removing the entire instrument panel? The cluster housing being the metal casting that the speedo & gages attaches to?

If so, how? I cannot see attachments from underneath or looking at its face.

And if not, to remove the entire instrument panel (full car width IP assembly), do you have to remove the windshield first?

I think you have to remove the windshield in order to remove the dash or instrument shade. There are screws under the inside of the windshield rubber molding that you can't remove with the molding in place.
