So the car was originally a 170 convertible had a bench seat. I want to replace it with bucket seats. I have the Factory brackets that mount to the floor. I wonder if somebody has measurements for where the holes are supposed to be. I thought somebody had said that the outer holes that the bench mounted to are not the correct holes for the bucket seats, correct me if I’m wrong. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Can't speak for the '64 in particular, but there's usually dimples in the floor pan where the bucket seat brackets bolt in. That's where you drill the new holes.

And add a plate to the new hole to support the new seat. All 4 holes for each seat !

If you're going to the trouble, you might want to change strategy a little and wind up with much comfier seats with inbuilt 3-point seatbelts. Namely: the seats from Chrysler Sebring. I've seen them re-covered with period-correct vinyl and cloth materials for our old cars and they really blend in well when redone that way. See here; detailed how-to is here.
