Out of my 64 Valiant convertible, non AC car. There is a difference between the hardtop dome light versus convertible, under-dash courtesy light that jumps off the passenger door light switch.
I tagged all the connections during removal. Everything was working fine when removed, I was just redoing the interior and dash.
I removed one set of fuse, holder clips as the basic fuse block has a gap and I clipped the jumper for the under dash courtesy light to remove it.
Wires are not brittle. Connectors could use a little cleaning.
64 Bulkhead connector is different from other years. Please check your application.
