1965 Barracuda Rear bench seat belt

I've got a seatbelt connection on both ends of the bench but nothing in the middle, Anybody have any idea what is missing?

They're not seat belts they secure the rear seat back when folded down

Agreed. They hook on to the ends of the chrome bar on the back of the seat back.
