I recently purchased a 1965 dart wagon that is in serious need of some TLC.
It is a nice little factory v8 automatic car. My plans for it are to make it a nice daily driver.
Well with a project like this you have to start somewhere so I'm starting with the floors.
I've looked around for a post on floors for the early A's and I see where I can get stock replacement parts.
However I was thinking about changing my transmission to a newer style with over drive. With that said The research I've run across says that I would need to enlarge the transmission tunnel as well as some other things.
So here is where my question comes in, Can I just buy and install a 1967 - 76 floor pan to install into my 65 (my floors are so rusted they are almost non existent at this point in time so I'm not cutting up a good floor pan to make this conversion). I've tried to do some ruff measurements and it looks close but I don't know if anyone has tried to do this already?
Any thoughts would be appreciated
