Has original Certification of Required Maintenance inside
it is unmarked and shows well- original rivets

That lid is for a 67. The 68 and 69 are different and will not bolt-up/function the same.
The 68 used a lower pad and was hinged differently.
The 69 used a push button latch tether strap assembly.
The front plate w/script is interchangeable through the years.

Thanks for info- i was pretty sure it was from a 67 I parted out years ago- but went by an ad on Ebay- should have known better---Thanks for taking the time to clarify
