1967 Dart starting up after 4 years

Howdy, i have finally had time to return working on my dart, its been parked for 4 years, what should i do before i start it up again? . Thanks

Change all the fluids, and make sure it's not stuck.

My dart sat for 4 years in a garage in so cal. I shot some starter fluid in the carb and it fired right up. I do agree that changing the fluids would be a good first step.

remove the distributor and the drive from the cam. spin the oil pump with a drill and a driver till you get oil pressure. turn the motor over by hand with the plugs out slowly while spinning the oil pump with the drill. otherwise its an opportunity to spin a bearing. ask me how I know. dont skip this step.
