I was looking at a 1967 barracuda yesterday, and on the fender tag, under the capital "T" was the number 4. I've checked a few fender tag decoder sites and I can't figure out what this option was. Maybe it was actually a 7 (tach) and I misread it. The gauges were missing so I can't be sure if it had a tach. Does anyone here know if 4 was an option under T?

Hey Kevin!

The letter "T" is used for the tires (13' and 14"), and typically would not be on the fender tag, it would also be followed by two digits. You would find this code on the "Broadcast sheet".
Single letters on the tag were used for Export, Canada, Police, Taxi...

Although it could be a color designation for a vinyl roof "brown saddle tan".
The #4 alone under the "T" throws me off??
Do you have a pic?

Usually the capital "T" is for the tach. Take a good look or maybe check it from the backside if corroded badly.

On 67 and 68 tags, tires are designated on the bottom row after trans identification digit.

ex:
RS23 83 3 44

44 would be the tire code
