1968 383 tick noise

hey guys i have a tick in my 68 383. it sounds like it is coming from the drivers side head. I pulled the valve cover and checked to see if any lfters were collapsed. all lifters seamed hard when each cylinder was on comp stroke. the tick onlly starts when the engine is warmed up.The engine is completly stock. Any ideas thanks
