My 383S had no hole for the heater hose bracket commonly mounted to the passenger inner fender at the shock mount location. The car is an early october build date.
The dimple was there but no evidence of the screw hole ever being there from either side of the inner fender. Did the early builds possibly use the 67/68 arrangement where the hoses were attached to the right valve cover?
