1969 Dodge Dart Swinger 340, 4 Speed, 3:23 open, Bench seat, R4 Red, Black Interior, White Stripe. All numbers matching, including core support and trunk, low mileage (36,128). Mileage will go up as I drive this car weekly. This is a very clean driver, and it is very original. For the purists out there, I know there are some things are not correct. I painted the engine the newer blue and also did the black inserts on the grill because I prefer it that way, I do know it is not correct for the year. There are other little things that are not correct. However if you did want a 100% correct car, it would not take much. I took two years and went completely through this car. This is by far, the most solid A Body I have ever seen. It is well documented in the pictures, (I have included over 1200 pictures in the below link). Numbers matching throughout. Fender tag is there and I have most of the original build sheet. The door panels, kick panels, pillar panels and trunk divider are all original. All the work and paint were finished a couple years ago. The car runs and drives very nicely and I do drive it weekly. The firewall and underside are original and unrestored. I have been completely through this car. I have the original wiper motor, water pump, fan and fan clutch. The intake was wrong and the timing cover was leaking , so I got an original 1969 intake, put in a new timing chain and gears, also a new water pump, alternator master cylinder and brake lines. Also replaced all wheel cylinders, hardware kits, drums and rotors were turned and new KYB gas shocks were installed. This is not a show car, but is a very nice example. Still needs some minor things to make it perfect, but needs nothing to get in and enjoy driving it. Could easily be taken to the next level without a lot of effort or expense. The things that need to be done: The dash/speedometer bezel trim needs to be restored , it does not look up to the standard of the rest of the car and the fuel and temp gauges do not work. It is not the sending unit, wiring or the relay as that has all been tested and are fine the radio also needs to be serviced, the power is getting to the radio, but it does not work. Car comes with full documentation and all receipts. Car has been verified by MMC Detroit and I also have all that documentation.
