I have what I would describe as an excellent used orange 340 pie tin. This part is not new and it isn't perfect. Some more TLC would make it closer to perfect. It was obviously on an engine for some period of time. There is a ghost of a circle where someone used an oversized washer under the wing nut. There are spots around the very outside bare aluminum edge that have a different sheen in irregular shapes that I believe a careful detail oriented restorer could resolve. The paint?/ transfer? in black and orange is in very good condition - no serious scratches. There are no dents that I can detect.
Because these have not been produced for some time, and most used ones are either on a restoration or are unrestorable, I am looking for $250 shipped and insured for this one so somebody can put the finishing touch on their stock restoration. This is correct for 1970 or 1971 340s from Dodge or Plymouth. I think somebody has made another run of the red 340 pie tins for 1968 and 1969 340s.
I tried to take pictures that show the flaws, but getting a shinier spot on bare aluminum to show up is hard.
