I'm looking to install a Transgo shift reprogrammer model TF-2 into my 1970 A727 transmission, but when I disassembled the valve body I found a B&M separator plate installed from a shift improver kit and the original separator plate long gone. The Trans-go kit requires drilling of the original unmodified separator plate. I looked up the original separator plate part number in the 1969 Mopar parts catalogue and it was P/N 2538043 which has been superceeded to P/N 2992845 for a valve body assembly P/N 2892357 which is no longer available from Chrysler.

I don't have access to a 1970 Mopar parts catalogue.

Are these part numbers correct for a 1970 A727 transmission P/N 3410769?

Any ideas where I can obtain an unmodified valve body separator plate?

Thanks.

You can use any seperator plate made from 66-73. They were all close to the same. The only differences are the holes your going to drill may have been a different size from the factory due to the type of vehicle Chrysler was using them in and how they wanted it to shift. Since your going to redrill the holes anyway the original size dosen't matter. I may have an extra plate. I'll look in the garage tomorrow and see if I do and pm you tomorrow.
