A friend in Wisconsin is selling his 1970 Dart Swinger:

400 HP balanced and blueprinted engine
Ground crank
Eagle rods
Comp cam shaft
Pro forged pistons
Edelbrock 750 cfm carbuerator
Edelbrock polish air gap intake
904c auto transmission with kevlar bands
Extra clutches added to the drum
10" Hughes torque converter
8-3/4 3.55 posi rear end
Rear springs moved 3" inboard
Broadcast sheet
Fender tag
Car has all original sheetmetal except the fiberglass front fenders. It is in excellent condition.

Didnt Swingers come with dual hood scoops? Or was that just certain years, or an extra option?

There were a few in town back in the 70's, and all of them had the dual scoops.

The simple explanation is that 340 Swingers came with dual scoops in 1970...Slant Six and 318 Swingers didn't come with the scoops. Most people who restore '70 Swingers will put that option on themselves, regardless of which engine the car came with from the factory.

To the OP: Beautiful car, it makes me want to paint my '70 Swinger black even more now. Best of luck with the sale!
 
The Demon Sizzler package or the Duster Twister had the twin scoops, but did not have the 340. I may be wrong,
