1970 Mexican Spec Valiant Duster - 51129E
Hello Friends
Here we have a 1970 Mexican Spec Valiant Duster.
1970 Was the first year the name Plymouth was not used on these cars so Valiant was the make and Duster was the model.
Under the hold is a 225 slant 6 mated to a 3 on the tree transmission.
Being the first year model these models are harder to find than the later models.
Some people prefer these early cars over the later one with the beak.
Right on the back of the car are the letters V A L I A N T indicating this is the make of the car.
In the few pictures shown here, you can see how straight this car is.
The interior features a white vinyl bench seat in the front with a matching rear seat.
The original steering wheel is in place with the horn ring. Later models did not have this.
It is riding on its original steel wheels with its original hub caps. The front is different from the rear though.
Being this is a slant 6 car, the addition of the hood scoops were just to make it look more racy.
This is a good base to build yourself a first year Duster the way you like.
Rust is not an issue on this car as you can tell from the pictures.
The vehicle delivered to the Nogales border will be $10,450 dollars.
(This includes professional transport from southern Mexico to my location then) - This first part doesn't apply to this car. I will trailer it the rest of the way.
If you have any questions about the importation process, I will be happy to answer them.
We can now offer shipping from our port of Veracruz to Jacksonville Florida.
The cost for this option would also be $9,750. This car is in the North of the country so this option is not available.
If you are on the East Coast this might be a good option for you.
I also have a transport company that can pick it up at the Jacksonville port and deliver it to your door.
Please let me know if you have any questions about that process.
We go live on my You Tube channel every Saturday at 2 PM Mountain time. Please come and ask all the questions you have.
