Took my Duster to the shop today. The car has been sitting for 6 years. and was just moved about 5 months ago. Got the heads redone. Cleaned up the engine changed the rods. New oil one could only hope I would have done that. New gas and new gaskets and all that good stuff. The duster kept dying when I would drive it up the street and try to go up the hill. Wasn't sure what needed to be done. So just took it to my mechanic. Just one look under the hook and he had a list of things for me. There was rust in my gas tank. And is now checking if I need a new gas tank. Going to clean the gas lines. change the oil again. rebuilding the carb. Was wishful thinking it was not going to be to much. Going to cost 800 to 1,000 dollars. But would be good to have it running.
