I'll try to be as accurate as possible describing the car . It is a 1970 dodge charger rt , i have the fendertag and buildsheet for it , it has a clear title and is registered in my name . I bought the car in pieces and it is still apart . The person i bought the car from had owned the car since the eighties . It had been through several body shops trying to be repaired but just never got off the ground . The car had 69 rear qtrs put on it and unfortunately when they did it the vin #s on the trunk rail went out with the trash (core support match though). I own the original car this not a rebody .
The car had a light hit in the rear , that is why the quarters were replaced . The original frame rails are still intact and in nice condition(front and rear) . The rear sheetmetal needs replacing , both quarters , full trunk pan , tailight panel with returns and valance . The metal @ the factory seam where the quarters meet the roof needs some love too as the car is a vinyl top car . The car retains all of its other original sheetmetal which is is in nice condition , the floors are good ( some idiot cut out shifter bracket area & riveted it back on ?) . the cowl , core support & door jambs are nice , the grille is very nice (remains intact as complete assembly w/ bumper & h/l motor) , the fenders , doors and hood are nice , rear bumper and tailights(70) are nice . I have all the stainless for the car too , including the vinyl top trim and r/t tailpanel trim . The car has no windshield.
The motor is original and complete from aircleaner to pan (#'s match on pan rail). The carb is a 69 383 carb , exhaust manifolds are nice and still retain the heat stoves , it has the original d/p distributor (tag is mia though) , it has the original valve covers , I have all the original a/c pieces , the p/s pump looked mis aligned so im not sure if it's correct , original p/s box in place , the m/c in booster w firewall plate were mia but ive got a (69) i think correct bendix booster & m/c . I havent verified if trans is #'s matching(not sure how to check) , i have driveshaft , 68 440 radiator . There is a correct bbody housing in the car but the brakes , staggered leafs , axles and 3rd member are mia .
It is a bucket seat console car , the seat frames and tracks are in very nice condition (frames are from 70 a body i know you know the difference lol) . the upper pads are very nice as is console and components . The door panels are in nice shape too , i have the trunk divider , tailight cover ( rear window inner trim shot) . The car is a tach delete car , the dash frame and trim covers are nice . Fortunately the complete interior was stored at the owners house indoors along with the Grille and bumper so they are not trashed . According to the 70 Charger Registry this is one of 28 fm3 cars with this combo of color & options . The car is located in BrokenArrow Ok and stored inside . The price is $18k firm or i will entertain an abody trade . I dont need any resto projects , i would trade the RT straight across for a nice driver 68-71 only , 340 , 383 , 440 . No ratted out spray can resto's , no early a's or wagons , or 6cyl or 318 cars . Any ?s just ask , thanx .

That'll be one sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet Charger when it's done. I wish I could take it off your hands, but these days my heart's not up for a project anymore. Good luck on a sale. I hope you find it a good home.

I'd change the interior to white and put on a white vinyl top and stripe. It would look like this someday. :headbang:
