1972 dart steering wheel help!!

Alright so I needed to replace my ignition lock no big dea right?

Well it went rather smoothly but I rember there not being anything that trully held or cliped the steering wheel "cover" or the horn buttons? Did I break it when I took it off or am I missing something very easy?

Don't know about your specific wheel, but some of them go on and twist to lock.
Maybe yours is like this?
