Just thinking that the 72 Demon is longer than Duster since Demon has fender extension on ends of fenders. I have been wrong before just ask my wife.
If you are wondering why I wanted to know.
There is no 1973 Dart Sport (or 73 A Body Duster in the car cover catalog) it stops at 1972.
I am thinking I bought a 1972 Demon last time. And fit like a glove. (Yes I kow about OJs glove)
I can't remember what I had for breakfast yesterday.

How many raisins are in a 27oz box of Raisin Bran?

A lot of website car part catalogs do not include part listings for the 1975/76 A body cars (Scamp, Valiant, Dart and Dart Sport). That does not mean those cars don’t exist since we know Chrysler pumped them out in those years. It just means the parts company or the reseller knows there’s not a high demand (compared to the 68 to 72 model year A bodies) for the 73 to 76 parts even though a lot of the parts are the same or can be used. If the majority of their customers are looking for parts on the ‘sought after’ year/models why bother with more key strokes on the lower demand models? Most folks restoring the lower demand year/models know better and do their own cross referencing.

How many Boeing 777’s are in the air right now as I type this?

Demons and Dart Sports are longer than Dusters. It’s only a couple inches and it’s all in the front clip ahead of the wheels, wheelbase is the same for all of those models.

You can see the difference in the hood length with the Dart/Demon hood next to the Duster/Valiant fenders…

73+ cars are longer in the bumpers than the corresponding 72 down cars, but for a car cover I doubt most of them are well fitted enough for that to matter.

And that's what I am doing. Cross reference. If a Demon is 6 inches longer I wanted to know. I do want the longer of the 2.
Thanks

On a side note.
I don't want to names but last cover I bought place pulled the wrong pattern. They go by number I think. Mistake do happen.
When I got it was a foot and a half ton short and wrong shape.
When I called and was told you have a Dart Sport not Duster or Demon that's why it don't fit. I had to send pictures of Dusters, Demon and Dart Sport to show roof, quarters, doors were same. Just difference from doors up.
They said yes we screwed up totally wrong. We sewed up completely different car.( it would not have fit swinger either, so was not the problem)
What car it fit I have no idea.
