Hi all,
I'm getting rid of a mostly complete 318 long block. It is out of my 73 duster. I think that there is something wrong with the bottom end. A couple of the cylinders had pretty low compression and when I applied pressure to the cylinders it came into the crank case. I didn't care to diagnose it any further as i got a good deal on another running 318 that I just swapped in instead. FREE to to whoever wants it.
The good:
Summit K6900 cam
Comp 901 springs - new
Biscuit style motor mounts
points distributor
The bad:
the bottom end - rings?
The ugly:
carter 2bbl carb
complete top end
Not included: (I have both off a 67 that you can have if you want)
water pump
timing cover
Maybe someone wants the new springs and will take the whole thing off my hands? These springs are really nice.
Also, I had to return the engine hoist that I borrowed so we'd need to figure something out to get it in your truck.
Motor is in Monterey, California.
