I am stuck on trying to pull the steering column apart to get to the ignition and that wiring harness. How do I get this wheel lock off??

the snap rings are all removed. at the base of the column that you can see in the photo, where the wheel lock is, does that little sleeve come off somehow??

Well I got the new ignition installed, cleaned up some more wiring while I had the dash out and the column apart. Replaced a fuseable link that if I'm not mistaken had to do with the over-charging problem to begin with. But now that the steering column is all put back together, it's just not feeling right. I'm almost 100% positive I've got everything in order...it being my first time and all, but there is some funny rubbing feeling going on in the steering wheel. So that's what I will check out today!
