This will be my 1st NHRA track, have always raced IHRA in the past.
To any of you who race there or have raced there in the past do you have any suggestions?
I hear they are a little more strict when it comes to tech inspection. Anything in particular?
Is there a part of the pit area that is better than the rest?
Thanks!

Pits are great, just find a place you like near the return road.
If your car is safe and set up right you won't have any problem with the tech inspection.

Update: facility was GREAT and the staff really knows their stuff and is very organized BUT:
It was very hot on Friday so pretty uncomfortable. Car NEVER hooked until they sprayed track prep for the pro mod that went in front of me on the last pass.
Saturday, got a hole in one of the slicks after the 2nd time trial, had to put it in the trailer and go home.
From now on I will carry a rubber tire plug kit with me. Good news is I got out an old pair of slicks that is harder compound and 2 1/2" shorter. Loosened the CalTracs and took it to San Antonio (a track known for little to no prep) the next weekend and hooked great every pass.
Interesting that giving it less hit and harder tires resulted in better hook! Or maybe it was the rear of the car being 1 1/4" lower with the different tires.
It bounces a few times after it hooks though, gonna have to try more tire pressure or adjust rear shocks.
