2 '68 Cudas, I need help!

Greetings! I am new to this site and also new to the Mopar world. Here's the jist... My uncle has 2, 1968 Baracudas. One is the 2 Door, "no pole" hardtop and the other is the 340 Formula S Fastback. Each were parked indoors 20 years ago and have not moved since.

I'm pretty sure the non FS has less than 20k miles on it. Both are original, all numbers matching. Each have all original glass, chrome and all the details. I even have the A/C unit for the FS.

My question is... what are these worth? I know a lot has to do with condition. Assuming I restore both of them to pristine condition, what could they be worth?

Are they worth dumping a bunch of money into? I love the looks of them and have always wanted a muscle car. I remember riding in these cars when I was little.

They are being handed down to me and I would really appreciate some input from you guys who know these cars. Any input whatsoever is helpful.

Get on ebay and see for yourself as there is a wide range.

They are not as popular as some of the other Mopars but they are beautiful cars.

If it was me I would pick the best of the two and sell one to fund the restoration of the other. My choice would be the Fastback since its a 340 S car.

If your plan is to fix them up nice and sell them then you may be disappointed in the return on your investment.

With these car I always proceed with a plan and a budget. where they are a worthy investment depends on what your actual plans are for these cars, repair and flip, just flip, or drive for several years and then consider sell? No, the market does not support dumping a lot of money into these cars. They are best when you can DIY a majority of the work. Best thing is you're getting into them at the right price. Selling the one to help finance the other might be an excellent option. There are not a lot of aftermarket parts for these cars like with many others. So parts can be both hard to find and expensive when you do. So factor that into your budget.
The three versions are most commonly known as Fastback, Notchback (coupe) and convertible.

Money is tight right now, but seems to be improving slowly. 68 340-s cars appear to be struggling to bring 20k in two-three condition. There are too many unknowns from your post. Such as what transmissions, colors, options, documentation broadcast sheets, fender tags, certicards etc. The more complete and desirable the car the easier to sell and valuate.
