22 inch radiator fan shroud swap.

Have a question about swapping in a 22 inch radiator. I have a 71 Swinger with a 225 in it. It has the factory 19 inch radiator. I know the 22 inch radiator will bolt in. My question is about the fan shroud for the 22 inch radiator. Looking at pictures the opening for the fan is offset. Will it align with the fan once everything is bolted in place? From the pictures it looks like it should but. I don’t want to spend the money only to find out it doesn’t fit. Can anyone help me out with this? Thanks.

I'm about 90 % certain that the CL of a /6 water pump is not the same as the CL of the SB and BB water pumps

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it. Might have to look at some other option. Possibly electric fan with a shroud.

I promise you will regret that.

The bottom line is there are 2 setups and either will work great.


If you have a 69 down rad and water pump go with it.
