24x30 garage

I have been planning on building a garage, and locally a garage was moved from a property its 24x30 which is the size I was after. It is built out of 2x6 solid walls and rafters 2 wood overhead doors but the shingles and siding are in poor shape, the mover wants 3,500.00 for it and cant decide if it is worth that when a menards kit would be about 7,000. for a kit about the same size. I'm not a carpenter but am capable of doing a lot of the work myself, I was wondering what anyone else thought.

If you have to redo the siding your probably around $2600.00 just in the vinyl panels.
About $900.00 for asphalt shingles if the roof is ten squares. 2X6 frame is a plus.
