Summit site shows MS540P10 tri metal 1/2 groove main bearings for my 273 for $66.00.........I've also found MS1344P10 tri metal FUL GROOVE main bearing for a 318 @ $45.00
Now back in the day full grooves were the way to go. I know there is less bearing surface/ but more oil.
My 273 is in a driver/ cruiser probably never see 5000 rpm.
What would you buy ? is there any reason not to buy the full grooves ?
