273 rocker shaft question?

I’m cleaning up an old set of 273 adjustable rockers, and I noticed there is a hole to one side of the banana grove. Does anyone know if that hole needs to go towards the intake or exhaust side, when installing the shafts?

That hole feeds the oil to the back side of the rocker to lube the pushrod tip .
So,,,yes,,that hole goes towards the intake area of the engine .

The notch on the end of the rocker shaft point to the centerline of the engine and toward the front of the engine on the left (drivers) bank and to the rear on the right bank. Torque to 200 inch pounds.
