I didn't hook up the stator or field wires, just some 6ga going to battery, and it self excited, made proper voltage, and started pumping amps.

I don't have everything connected to run the engine for more then 30seconds, but....

Do I need those 2 other wires since it seemed to juice as expected or will the Devil show its face after the battery is topped off and those wires are not hooked up, and continue to run?

Its a duralast DL7127M 60 amp.

There's also a small post next to the heavier battery stud, not sure what that is all about. Most photos I see shows it missing, along with the 100 junk ones I have laying around. Seems it goes no where , ground or hot post with a continuity test

There's nothing sensitive on the machine. Just a 12v coil, points, battery, electric fan.

I might install some LED lights, but its hard to see oil leaks at night anyways.

Thanks.

I like terminal 2.

And I have charge and no indicator light in the circuit.

I'll let everyone know if I have a dead battery or it explodes when I run it for a few hours. My meters are telling me otherwise.

I'm curious now.

Thanks.

I picked up a cheep gauge from O'Reilly's. It just plugs into any 12 volt wire in the system and it shows how much the system is charging.

Did a 3 wire to 1 wire conversion Alternator to do a work around to the failed onboard computer voltage regulator. Eliminating the onboard computer.

Oh yeah, 1 wire ignition too... no computer. Full 12 volt to the coil.

'85 Ford (application) Alternator because it had the dual pullies I needed for my setup.

Hmmm.

Going from double pulley straight fan to electric and sensors with a juicer.

Transmission and coolant sensors both on the same single fan relay.

Not feeling lucky this summer. Should I add a 2nd fan the spinning other direction on the other side of coolers?

5mph tops speed.

I think i need two grounds. Twice the power right? One for each model number? Can't cheat ohms law
