340 find?

I was roming through a junk yard today and i came across a 71 or 72 plymouth duster. Originally consle shift. noticed that it didnt have the shifter on the colomn and there was a hole in the floorboard. theres a small block v8 in it. Does this mean its a 340. If i remember right it had a two barrel on it.
