340 Heads

Does the 340 TA Challengers have bigger ports on their heads the X or J Heads ? I heard that there's a head termed TA head that have bigger ports and came set up on the 6 pack 340 motors. Can anyone expound on this?

Ports are cast the same. The intake rocker and pushrod are offset to allow for further porting if you choose to do that.

We have 6 sets of offset T/A heads U O J and X castings. Nothing wrote in stone with Chrysler castings back in the day.
