340 with trns

I just found a guy selling a complete 340 (minus carb. and headers) and tranmission for $600. Is this a good deal? Picture looks like a clean moter.Polease let me know ASAP!!!

couldn't hurt, more motors the better. Unless the motor is completly screwed.

Man you can turn that thing around to the right guy looking to do a 340 resto and make a buck or two on it. If they are looking for #'s matching stuff they are really hard to find anymore.
