Okay, laying under the car as I'm getting a lot of petrol fumes when hot out and I'm looking to see what could be the issue. I see the feed line off the tank to the engine. I also have a vent pipe that is connected over to the side of the car where there are 4 lines sticking down out of the trunk. Then another line runs to the front of the car and connects to the rocker/valve cover breather. I'm assuming this is the active vent system using the engine as a storage for tank fumes. Does not look an ideal set up as would rather plumb in a charcoal cannister to store the fumes to be burnt off when the engine is running.
The issue is that in the back where the four lines are there are only the two previously mentioned hooked up. Where do the other two lines go? The are open right now. Looking inside the trunk it looks like they all just hook into a pipe looking thing in the trunk. A strange looking set up for sure.
Anyone know or can help. I'd like to get all hooked up correctly and stop the petrol fumes filling the garage. Probably not a good thing with a gas fired water heater in the garage as well!!
Cheers
